How to find us
If you are walking or cycling here you are most likely going to be following the Great Glen Way. True North Lodge is located within the ‘Great Glen Water Park’ at the south end of Loch Oich. Coming from Fort William look out for the Laggan Swing Bridge and then follow signs for the Great Glen Waterpark. Follow the driveway about 200m around to the car park area. True North Lodge is #18 and is five lodges down on the right. Coming from Inverness the Trail passes right by True North Lodge. You will walk right into the park and True North Lodge will be 5 down on the right hand side.

The A82 is the main connector road which comes from Inverness 45 miles to the north, or from Fort William which is 25 miles to the South. When you reach the Laggan Swing Bridge then look for the signpost ‘Great Glen Water Park’ and turn onto the driveway. Follow the driveway 200m and you will arrive at the free car park. True North Lodge is #18 and we are 5 lodges down on the right.

True North Lodge is situated at the Southern end of Loch Oich. The loch itself forms part of the Great Glen Canoe Trail and the Caledonian Canal meaning you can arrive by boat! Both websites offer further information on planning your journey by water and on arrival, True North Lodge is about 25 metres from the lochside moornings.

By Train : There are Train Stations at both Fort William and Inverness, with Fort William being closest. Book online at www.scotrail.co.uk. You would then need to connect with the bus service to complete your journey.
By Bus : www.citylink.co.uk offers a daily bus service from both Fort William and Inverness. You can ask the bus driver to let you off at the ‘Laggan Swing Bridge’ and then you will only have a 5-minute walk to True North Lodge (follow ‘on foot’ directions in the tab above).
